Editorial Policy

How Personalcare.id is written, reviewed, corrected, and kept independent.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial ones. No brand, retailer, salon, advertiser or affiliate programme sees content before publication, approves content, or has any right of review. No one can buy a position in a comparison, a favourable description, or the removal of a criticism.

Sourcing

Material claims are sourced to a primary source — a regulator, a professional body, a published study, or a manufacturer's own stated formulation — and linked. We do not cite other blogs as authority, and we do not present a general pattern as a specific finding.

Who writes this

Content is produced by the Personalcare.id editorial team, which researches, drafts and reviews each page against this policy and our methodology. We are not dermatologists, trichologists, licensed estheticians, cosmetic chemists or physicians, and we do not present ourselves as any of those. Where a topic genuinely requires a professional, we say so and help you prepare for that conversation instead of substituting for it.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us through the contact form and select "Correction". We fix errors in place, promptly, and note material corrections on the page.

Language we do not use

We do not write "cures", "guaranteed results", "permanently", "clinically proven" without a citation, "miracle", "chemical-free", "toxin-free", "detoxifies", or any phrasing that implies an outcome we cannot know. We do not use before-and-after imagery. We do not describe a cosmetic product as a treatment for a condition. And we do not use shame framing about anyone's appearance, skin, hair or age.

Reviewed on an ongoing basis. Tell us through the contact form if anything here is out of date.
