Introduce one new product at a time, patch test first, and stop using anything that burns, blisters, swells or spreads. For a reaction that is severe or does not settle, seek medical attention.

When to see a professional

See a qualified professional for anything persistent, painful, spreading or worsening; for any change in a mole or pigmented spot; for a scalp that is sore, scaling or losing hair in defined patches; for a reaction to a product or treatment; and before any procedure. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or under a doctor's care, check with them before changing what you use.
